StrongDisk creates protected disks inside your Windows system.

StrongDisk creates protected disks inside your Windows system. With such disks you can work as with usual hard drive- The main difference is that all data written to the disk is encrypted "on fly", while the content of the protected disk is stored in common file with arbitrary name. In order to access existing protected disk user must enter password, which is specified during disk creation, and/or insert electronic key or diskette with key file. Without required password and/or a key nobody, including developers, can access the secret data on the protected disk, even if intruders possess the physical media. After the password is entered, the disk is mounted, and you can write any data to and read from the disk in so-called "transparent" mode. You don't need to copy files from the protected disk to your hard drive before working with them. Any documents, tables and databases can be opened directly on the protected disk. On finishing the work or in the case of emergency all protected disks can be instantly dismounted, thus, locking access to the data.<BR>
